On will debut its second flagship store in Tokyo’s Ginza district on September 12, expanding its retail footprint in Japan. Additionally, the company will host an On Labs Tokyo event from September 13 to 21 to debut its LightSpray technology in the APAC region.
“Tokyo 2025 represents a defining moment for On as we continue our hyper-growth strategy across Asia, showcasing the very essence of our premium brand across retail, innovation, and elite performance,” stated On Co-Founder Olivier Bernhard.
“The opening of our Tokyo Ginza flagship will elevate the On experience for consumers, On Labs Tokyo will present the future of what is possible in shoe design and production, and our incredible athletes will inspire the world with their pursuit of medals and titles,” continued Bernhard.
The store opening and activation coincide with Tokyo hosting the World Athletics Championships from September 13 to 21.
In the second quarter, On’s sales in the Asia-Pacific region jumped 42.9 percent on a reported basis and 110.9 percent on a constant currency basis, to CHF 197.8 million ($247 mm).
