OGIO International will take over sales, marketing and distribution of its  golf collections to Canadian retailers from Rampion Inc. on Sept. 1.

The move demonstrates OGIO's continued investment in its golf business unit to allow it to further capitalize on the strong brand momentum that it has created in North America, Europe and Asia. Based in Bluffdale, UT, OGIO makes bags, backpacks and other gear and accessories for the work, school, team sports, motorsports and other markets.

“We recruited a powerhouse sales team in Canada in preparation of this strategic initiative,” said OGIO VP Tom Gocke. “Along with this talented sales team, we dedicated Tim Urlocker, OGIO's director of sales, to directly service our largest retail partners in Canada. We also invested in a supply-chain/customer fulfillment system that will allow us to directly and efficiently service Canadian retailers. This continued investment in OGIO Golf is key to our strategic initiative to again double the size of OGIO Golf in North America, Europe and Asia within the next 3 years.”
