O5 Group secured the license for Eddie Bauer’s men’s and women’s North America wholesale and e-commerce businesses, as well as for Dickies men’s in North America.
The licensing agreements were noted in a LinkedIn post from O5 CFO Eric Spiel, who wrote, “I could not be more proud of our small but mighty leadership team and ownership group that made this happen. Now the fun begins!”
Eddie Bauer was acquired in 2021 by Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) and Catalyst Brands, formerly SPARC Group. Authentic owns Eddie Bauer’s intellectual property, while its core operating business is run by Catalyst Brands.
In November 2025, Dickies was sold by VF Corp. to Bluestar Alliance for $600 million. Bluestar Alliance’s brand portfolio includes Off-White, Palm Angels, Scotch & Soda, Hurley, Justice, Bebe, Elie Tahari, Limited Too, and Brookstone.
New York City-based O5 Group, which includes O5 Apparel, Blue Label Apparel, LLC and Brand X, LLC, specializes in men’s and women’s outerwear, activewear, sportswear, jeans, pajamas, and loungewear, as well as children’s wear and layette, and makes products under various other lifestyle brands. The company holds licenses for several other Authentic-owned brands, including Champion, Billabong, Quiksilver, Lucky Brand, and Izod, as well as Bluestar Alliance’s Hurley.
