Peggy Ann Vallery, chairman of the National Wild Turkey Federation's national board of directors, will be inducted into the “Legends of the Outdoors National Hall of Fame” in Nashville, TN Aug. 14.

“Peggy's years of hard work, devotion, integrity and great love for the outdoors have not been overlooked,” said Garry Mason, executive director of the “Legends of the Outdoors” National Hall of Fame. “Peggy was nominated for this position by the friends and peers who have watched her become a leader in the hunting and outdoor industry, and I'm pleased to recognize her in this special way.”

Mason established the “Legends of the Outdoors” National Hall of Fame to recognize the outdoor sportsmen and sportswomen who, through countless hours of hard work and devotion to the outdoors, in both hunting and fishing, have played an integral part in setting the standards and guidelines for the rest of the outdoor world to follow.

“I am honored to be inducted into the 'Legends of the Outdoors' National Hall of Fame and am thankful for the many years of love and support I've received from the NWTF and the outdoor industry,” Vallery said.
