For the second consecutive year, the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s annual Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) is participating in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program (IBP).

The IBP is a joint effort between the U.S. government and industry to bring thousands of international buyers to the United States for business-to-business matchmaking with U.S. firms exhibiting at major industry trade shows with the goal being to help manufacturers and distributors expand sales.

The IBP is run concurrently within the SHOT Show and serves as a value-added service to U.S. exhibitors at the show. The IBP recruited more than 370 international buyers to the 2014 SHOT Show, providing exceptional networking opportunities for those participating in the program’s events.

Delegations of buyers are expected from the following export markets during the 2015 SHOT Show:

Brazil Bulgaria Canada, Croatia, Finland, Guatemala, Honduras, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Thailand, New Zealand, Philippines, Slovakia, South Korea, Ukraine and Zambia

U.S. exhibitors participating in the International Buyer Program will have access to the following complimentary services during the show:

Export Counseling: At the International Trade Center, exhibitors to SHOT Show can visit and receive expert trade counseling. These interactions allow Department of Commerce trade specialists help U.S.-based SHOT Show exhibitors identify the best markets for their products and introduce those companies to those international delegates seeking goods from these makers.
