The Buckle, Inc. announced that sales for the four-week period ended November 27, 2004 increased 4.5% to $40.3 million from sales of $38.5 million in the corresponding four-week period ended November 29, 2003.

Comparable store sales, for stores open at least one year, for the four-week period ended November 27, 2004 decreased 0.4 percent from comparable store sales for the prior year four-week period ended November 29, 2003.

Net sales year-to-date, for the 43 weeks ended November 27, 2004 increased 11.7 percent to $365.4 million from $327.2 million for the corresponding 43 weeks in the prior year. Comparable store sales year-to-date were up 6.6 percent from sales in the same 43-week period of the previous year.

Beginning with the four-week period ended May 1, 2004, the Company changed its method of reporting comparable store sales to exclude Internet sales.
