Nordstrom, Inc. looks to open new Nordstrom Rack locations in the Southeast next spring, with locations planned for Wellington, Florida in spring 2027 and Athens, Georgia in summer 2027.

In Wellington, the center of the equestrian world each spring southeast of the Palm Beach area, a 22,000-square-foot store will be located at The Shoppes at Isla Verde, a popular shopping center that includes Best Buy, Homesense, Total Wine & More, and Petco, among others. The shopping center is owned by a MetLife Investment Management-advised client and is managed by Urban Retail Properties.

“Nordstrom Rack is a marquee addition to The Shoppes at Isla Verde,” said Paul Motta, chief operating officer, Urban Properties, LLC.

“We look forward to being a part of the Wellington community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” said Gemma Lionello, president, Nordstrom Rack. “We’re excited to grow our footprint in the Miami market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience.”

In Athens, the home to the University of Georgia, a 22,000-square-foot store will be located at Athens Marketplace, a popular shopping center that includes Office Depot, Game Stop and others. The Outparcel is owned and managed by the Crimson Companies, under the leadership of Pamela Day.

“We are excited to welcome Nordstrom Rack to Athens Marketplace,” said Mike Riso, property manager, Crimson Companies. “This new location underscores Nordstrom’s long-term commitment to investing in the community through local job creation, economic development, and a customer-first approach that has made the brand a trusted destination for millions of shoppers nationwide.”

“We look forward to being a part of the Athens community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” said Lionello. “We’re excited to grow our footprint in the Atlanta market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience.”

Lionello added that at both locations “customers will be able to take advantage of our convenient services such as online order pick up from both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, and they can make returns easily.”

The new locations expands the company’s physical footprint and provides an economic impact in Georgia and Florida. The company currently operates two Nordstrom stores and seven Nordstrom Rack stores in Georgia, generating more than 700 jobs statewide, and six Nordstrom stores and 23 Nordstrom Rack stores in Florida, generating more than 2,900 jobs statewide.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc. and offers customers up to 70% off on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty products, home decor and shoes from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom stores.

Nordstrom Rack is reportedly the largest source of new customers to Nordstrom.
