Nordstrom, Inc. announced plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack in Orange, CA. The 35,000 square foot store will be located at The Block at Orange and is expected to open in spring 2012.

Nordstrom Rack will be a part of the new development on the eastern side of The Block at Orange. Conveniently located off of I-5 and Highway 22, The Block at Orange offers nearly 100 name-brand outlet and value retail stores, restaurants and family fun entertainment venues. The Mills®, one of Simon Property Group's (NYSE: SPG) five real estate platforms, owns and operates The Block at Orange.

Nordstrom currently operates three Nordstrom Racks in Orange County, at Metro Pointe at South Coast (Costa Mesa, Calif.), Brea Union Plaza (Brea, Calif.) and Laguna Hills Mall (Laguna Hills, Calif.). The nearest full-line Nordstrom store is located one mile west of The Block at Orange at Westfield MainPlace Shopping Center.
Nordstrom Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com at 50-60% off original Nordstrom prices. Nordstrom Rack also offers a wide selection of apparel, accessories and shoes from many of the brands carried in Nordstrom stores and purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, with most at savings of 30-70% off.
