Nordstrom Comps Increase 7.8% in May

Nordstrom, Inc. reported sales of $600.8 million for the month of, a 10.1% jump from sales of $545.6 million during last year’s May. Same-store sales increased 7.8%. Preliminary year-to-date sales of $2.39 billion were an increase of 8.5% from sales of $2.20 billion in 2005. Year-to-date same-store sales increased 6.0%.
