Nordica USA has opened the doors at its new corporate headquarters in West Lebanon, NH. The inauguation day event marked the storied brand’s return to New England after a six-year absence. On hand to celebrate the June 2nd opening were Mr. Giancarlo Zanatta, chairman of the Tecnica Group and CEO of Nordica Spa, Paolo Denti, General Manager of Nordica Spa, and Andy Knittle, CEO of Nordica USA.

“New Hampshire is the perfect location for Nordica USA,” said Andy Knittle, “and we are thrilled to be back in the heart of New England ski country. Additionally, Nordica USA will now enjoy the benefits of being close to its sister companies with whom it shares the synergies of logistics and information technology.”

“The new Nordica USA will now be well positioned to expand its strong brand presence in the United States ,” said Mr. Zanatta. “Nordica will commemorate 50 years of serving the American market in 2004, and we plan to mark the occasion by launching a dramatic new collection of alpine skis which build off Nordica’s great heritage of success on the World Cup.”

With the acquisition of Nordica, the Tecnica Group is the world’s largest supplier of winter sports products with total annual turnover of 400 million EU.
