Nomadix multi-purpose towels, made with 100-percent recycled material, are now available at REI stores nationwide.

Created with a proprietary poly-nylon blend, the towels are designed with travel, yoga and beach-use in mind, but can also be used for outdoor activities such as surfing, camping, bike-packing and backpacking.

“The active towel category has seen several challenges,” said Co-founder Chace Petersen. “Whether it’s activity-specific yoga towels with uncomfortable dots on the bottom, or quality issues when looking to save weight on a pack towel, the choices for the active traveler have never been ideal. We addressed these shortcomings with the Nomadix towel.”

Zack Helminiak, co-founder, said, “We’ve been REI co-op members since the first time we were fitted for external frame packs as kids. Since then, we’ve looked to REI as a force for good in the outdoor retail space. We are more than thrilled that REI is continuing its dedication to the environment and to eco-friendly products, and that our partnership will be part of that very important effort.”

The partnership with REI adds to Nomadix’s list of retailers, including yoga studios, surf shops and online platforms.
