Niner Bikes promoted Armando “Mondo” Aguilera, one of its longest tenured employees, as brand manager.
Aguilera began his career at the company in operations in February 2012. Notably, he was responsible for packing the original garage-sized Niner office in California in 2012 and shipping the contents to its current headquarters in Fort Collins, CO.
He joined the sales team in 2013 as the company’s factory sales and demo representative for the Northwest territory, became the national sales manager in 2018, and, most recently, served as the International and Western sales manager.
“Just call me Elmer,” joked Aguilera, “I look forward to being the glue that unites our departments and driving the future of our Niner Bikes family.”
SVP Specialty Sales, Jeff Weiss, added, “Mondo radiates that Niner ethos and is a true champion of the brand. He really believes in the mission, and I’ve no doubt he’s the right guy at the right time.”
Niner Bikes’ product line includes mountain, gravel and eMTB bikes.
