Nils re-organized its Design department into three distinct teams with Susie Wiyninger, Aimee Jacobs, and Linda Kinney each managing their own design teams.
The goal is to insure fresh and innovative approaches each year in the women's winter sports market. Nils is also including new snow apparel products like urban retro influenced sweaters, fleece, and outerwear as well as trend setting high fashion styling that each appeal to broader range of ages, activities, and lifestyles. The “dressing her for morning to night” concept drives the expanded emphasis in Resort and Après ski offerings.
NILS Core Collections – Merchandiser & Designer Susie Wiyinger has worked for Nils Inc since 1986 and continues to manage the development of the important core collections of Sport 1, Classic, and Body Zone groups that have made Nils the leader in the women's winter sports market.
New Development – Aimee Jacobs, formerly the Merchandiser for Couloir, is a
new member to the Nils Merchandise team. She is currently developing collections for the next generation of Nils's customers, including our high fashion offering.
Resort and Après Ski – Linda Kinney, Knitwear and Resortwear Designer who will oversee all the management of design and development for the Nils Resort, Après ski and Lifestyle offerings. In addition she will continue to design sweaters, accessories, and other second layer products to coordinate with all outerwear collections.
Nils has two dedicated and knowledgeable team managers headed by Cheri Palmer in Production and Heidi Andrade in Marketing. They each will assist in transforming the creative efforts of the design teams into a meaningful and exciting presentation for the winter sports market for January 2006.
Development and Production – Cheri Palmer will head up a team of fabric and trim specialists, graphic artists, pattern makers and QC professionals that will take the designers creative ideas and assist in developing the prototypes, samples, and final production.
Marketing and Public Relations – Heidi Andrade will manage all communication, sales, support materials, promotions, and events associated with Marketing and Public Relations for Nils Inc.
