Nike is officially reintroducing its All Conditions Gear (ACG). After years of operating as a sub-brand within the company’s broader apparel and footwear offerings, ACG is once again being positioned as a dedicated brand built specifically for trail running, hiking and exploration.

Nike will support the relaunch of ACG with an expanded roster of outdoor ambassadors, new partnerships with trail races and the opening of its first ACG Base Camp in Beijing.

“This is a defining moment in ACG’s history; a recommitment to all conditions and an invitation to athletes: unplug, get outside and explore,” said Scott LeClair, VP/GM of ACG. “ACG has the foundation to shape the future of outdoor performance while pushing into spaces that feel fresh and unexpected. It is going to be a fun ride.”

Bloomberg reported in October 2024 that LeClair, who previously ran Action Sports at Nike, has been named vice president and general manager of Nike’s ACG division, working from its global headquarters in Portland, OR, as part of a renewed push into the outdoor opportunity. His LinkedIn account shows LeClair has held the title GM/VP of Nike Running and Training, based in Shanghai, since 2015.

Products that will arrive timed with the ACG relaunch will include trail-specific footwear, including the flagship ACG Ultrafly and ACG Zegama, as well as purpose-built apparel with the Radical AirFlow racing top and Lava Loft down jacket.

The company stated in a media release, “Nike Trail will also transition into ACG, allowing the brand to tap into Nike’s unparalleled running history to deliver innovations that fuel the performance of outdoor athletes of all abilities and intensities.”

Nike has added new athletes to its All Conditions Racing Department for the season, bolstering the existing group of 22 to support ACG in prototype testing and provide feedback.

New members include Hiroki Kai (Japan), Hyunji Kang (Korea), Minchul Ko (Korea), Jennifer Lichter (U.S.), Adam Merry (U.S.), and Takako Takamura (Japan).

The All Conditions Racing Department was initially formed in August 2025 with the initial 22 athletes including: Christian Allen (U.S., Utah), Shea Aquilano (U.S., Colorado), Addie Bracy (U.S., Colorado), Riley Brady (U.S., Colorado), Nienke Brinkman (Switzerland), Erin Clark (U.S., Montana), Baptiste Coatantiec (France), Anthony Costales (U.S., Utah), Rachel Drake (U.S., Utah), Ross Gollan (UK), Tyler Green (U.S., Utah), Lauren Gregory (U.S., Colorado), Guangxiong Han (China), Drew Holmen (U.S., Colorado), Bailey Kowalczyk (U.S., Colorado), Gabriela Lasalle (Spain), Cesare Maestri (Italy), Liam Meirow (U.S., Oregon), Daniela Oemus (Germany), Caleb Olson (U.S., Utah), Ti Ren (China), and Sophia Rodriguez (U.S., Washington)

Nike ACG, in early 2025, signed as the title sponsor and official sportswear supplier of the Chongli 168 Ultra Trail. This year, ACG has added Broken Arrow Skyrace and Gorge Waterfalls as partners.

ACG will also open its first dedicated, standalone store this month in Beijing’s Taikoo Li Sanlitun shopping center. Nike said of the store, “More than a retail destination, the ACG Base Camp is a physical manifesto of ACG’s spirit, reimagining gear for a new generation and returning to the brand’s roots of exploration. Additional activations at Nike stores around the world will bring the wild inside through a distinct focus on serving outdoor athletes, no matter where they live or play.”

Nike said a new brand voice and campaign are being developed “that promise to further bring ACG’s identity, vision and passion to life, inspiring outdoor exploration and thrill while priming athletes everywhere for the adventure ahead.”
