Nike has appointed three divisional vice presidents: Pamela M. Catlett as vice president of Nike's Investor Relations, Jim Allaker as vice president, Finance, Planning and Operations for Nike's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and Hubertus Hoyt as vice president, EMEA Commercial. Each appointment is effective immediately.

“These well-deserved promotions further demonstrate the strong bench of talent we have developed at Nike,” said Charlie Denson, President of Nike. “These individuals have a deep understanding of Nike and are committed to continuing to lead the company toward our goal of becoming not only a great global brand, but a great global company. I am confident they will continue to make significant contributions to our brand and our business globally.”

As Nike's vice president of Investor Relations, Catlett is responsible for the management and development of Nike's investor relations' activities. In this capacity, Catlett is responsible for communicating Nike's key strategies, initiatives and financial performance to the investment community and for managing the company's relationships with shareholders and analysts. Catlett joined Nike in 1999 as Investor Relations manager and was promoted to director in 2001. In her new role, Catlett will report directly to Don Blair, CFO of Nike. Prior to joining Nike, Catlett was the vice president of Corporate Relations with Kaiser Ventures, Inc.

Jim Allaker, a 16-year Nike veteran, will assume the role of vice president, Finance, Planning and Operations for Nike's region of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Allaker's new role will include expanded responsibilities for not only finance but also the business planning and operations within Nike EMEA. Previously he served as director of Nike EMEA's strategic planning, legal and finance operations, leading the region through its rapid business expansion, including growth of Nike retail and Eastern Europe entities and businesses. Throughout his Nike career, Allaker has held various positions in finance and operations at Nike's world headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. and in Nike's European headquarters in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Allaker will report directly to Eunan McLaughlin, Nike's regional vice president for EMEA.

Hubertus Hoyt has been appointed as vice president of Commercial in EMEA. In this capacity, Hoyt is responsible for development and management of all Nike sales and retail operations in EMEA, Nike's second-largest region with revenues of $3.8 billion. Hoyt started his career at Nike in 1998 as the marketing director of Nike Germany and most recently — before his appointment to EMEA Commercial director — served as general manager for the EMEA Equipment division and provided leadership and vision for NIKE's ACG and European Team Sports businesses at Nike's EMEA headquarters in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Hoyt also will report directly to Eunan McLaughlin.
