Nike and USC Athletics reportedly agreed to a 10-year extension of their all-sport partnership, through 2036, marking the fifth decade of their partnership. In the 1990s, the University of Southern California became one of the first collegiate programs to exclusively represent the Nike brand.

“USC and Nike have grown together for more than 30 years, and we are thrilled to continue one of the great partnerships in college athletics,” said Jennifer Cohen, athletic director, University of Southern California (USC). “From the outset, these two iconic brands have made history, outfitted legends, and powered victories for generations of Trojan student athletes, and for all we have accomplished together already, we are all the more excited about what’s to come. The impact of this extended partnership on our student-athletes, loyal fans, campus community, and the entire Trojan Family will be transformational, and we look forward to many more victories together in the years ahead.”

The extension includes:

  • Nike Blue Ribbon Elite: USC student athletes will join Nike’s NIL roster, collaborating with the brand on campaigns, products and marketing.
  • Nike Strength: USC will be the first school in the U.S. outfitted with Nike Strength equipment, to be featured at the new Bloom Football Performance Center.
  • Bespoke Basketball Uniform Closets: Nike’s design team will create custom uniform collections for USC men’s and women’s basketball.
  • USC Bookstore Renovation: Nike and its retail partners will refresh the USC Bookstore.

The partnership also includes USC x Nike retail pop-ups, an expanded Nike women’s product line and the “exploration of state-of-the-art sports research collaboration between Nike and USC.”
