Kim Lupo, formerly Nike’s VP, global total rewards, operations & people analytics, has joined Walmart as senior vice president of total global rewards.

Donna Morris, Walmart’s chief people officer, shared the news through an internal company memo, according to talkbusiness.net.

Lupo joined Nike in 2015 as VP, global total rewards and managed compensation, benefits, performance management, and people operations. Prior to Nike, she spent more than eight years in compensation leadership roles at T-Mobile.

“[Lupo] has a wealth of valuable experience in the compensation, benefits and performance management space and will be a big asset to our team as we continue to focus on the physical, financial and emotional well-being of our associates,” Morris wrote.

“I’m eternally grateful for the amazing colleagues and friends I’ve made at Nike these last several years and am so proud of all we have accomplished,” Lupo wrote on social media. “I am so excited for my next challenge at Walmart leading compensation, benefits and well-being. I am very passionate about rewarding associates in meaningful ways that better their lives, [and] am excited to be a part of this inspiring team and the positive impact we’ll make together.”
