Nidecker SA of Rolle, Switzerland, announced the return of Thierry Kunz to the company as CMO and member of the board.

As CMO, Kunz will bring a fresh and experienced perspective to the marketing department, particularly for the Nidecker and Laird brands which he will direct as brand lead.

Kunz, pictured to the right, is an ex-professional snowboarder, who was also marketing director at Nidecker SA for five years and the founder of Donuts Snowboards.

Most recently, Kunz was the head of global winter marketing for Quiksilver, Roxy and DC Shoes. He has also served within the Quiksilver group as business unit manager for the snow category, and marketing director for DC Shoes Europe.

“I’m really happy that Thierry Kunz is back with us at Nidecker,” said Henry Nidecker Junior. “The group is currently experiencing healthy growth, and it is important to integrate highly qualified people such as Thierry to continue to progress. He will develop new and innovative concepts and will bring all his action sports expertise to the Nidecker and Laird brands.”
