NFL players and coaches will be sporting pink pink cleats, wristbands, gloves, sideline hats and captain patches among other items in October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Next Monday night, four Minnesota Vikings players will be wearing pink cleats as part of the “A Crucial Catch” campaign in partnership with the American Cancer Society. Quarterback Brett Favre, linebacker Chad Greenway, cornerback Antoine Winfield, and running back Chester Taylor will all be seen with the pink cleats when the Vikings take on the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football.

Favre's wife, Deanna, is a breast cancer survivor, and Greenway is the team's spokesman for breast cancer awareness.

Special K-balls and pink coins will be auctioned off at NFL Auction. (www.NFLAuction.NFL.com)
