Charles A. Zona has joined NexCen Brands, Inc. as Executive Vice President of Licensing and Brand Management. Mr. Zona will lead this function for NexCen, reporting directly to President and Chief Executive Officer, Robert W. D’Loren.

Mr. D’Loren commented, “Chuck will be instrumental to NexCen as we diversify our brands with new licensing opportunities in the future.” Mr. D’Loren continued, “He clearly understands how to reach consumers in a variety of mass marketing sectors. This is critical to our growth in each of our operating verticals, and Chuck brings to bear a stellar track record of successes and achievements. I look forward to his participation as an executive member of our management team,” Mr. D’Loren said.

Mr. Zona joins NexCen from his own consulting practice, where he advised well known brands such as The J. Peterman Company, Chris-Craft Boats and XOR. Prior to this endeavor, he served as senior vice president for consumer products at the National Football League Properties, where Mr. Zona was charged with the development of a new consumer products business model focused upon apparel, accessories and hardlines. Mr. Zona also brings extensive retail experience to NexCen, where his previous position as senior vice president at Lord & Taylor included divisional profit and loss responsibility, sales, design, marketing, sourcing, manufacturing and operations.
