Last Saturday, when Penn State and Wisconsin took the court at Seattle's Key Arena, a new volleyball court known as the Sport Court volleyball court was introduced. The new court's surface features zoned coloring.

“We created a two-toned court so referees and ESPN college sports viewers could better differentiate the zones of the court,” said Danny Lahr, Events Manager for Sport Court. “This is ideal for watching the rapid play that occurs at the highest level of volleyball.”

Sport Court created the zoned volleyball court specifically for the NCAA DI Women's Volleyball Championship to differentiate the front and back zone play.

“Sport Court is constantly innovating to meet the performance and safety needs of these exceptionally talented student athletes,” explained Ron Cerny, CEO of Connor Sport Court International. “This year's zoned coloring is a visible example of our continued development.”

The championship Sport Court volleyball court featured a dark and light Sport Court Response HG Maple Select playing surface with a Response HG Red border.

Since 1993, Sport Court has partnered with the NCAA to supply performance flooring for its volleyball championships. As the Official Supplier to NCAA Volleyball and Official Playing Surface of the NCAA Volleyball Championships, Sport Court provides volleyball courts for the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championships, the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Regionals, the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championship and NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship.
