Tim Putnam, race director for the Bicycle Blues & BBQ in Clear Lake, Iowa, said The Midwest Flyover is going to benefit our individual races and the racers themselves, and allow our racers to compete regionally.
Mike Delaney, director for the Minnesota Memorial Classic, added This regional race will mean more competitors, more fun, and a new level and mix for our racers. We think the Flyover will bring in more competitors and talent from neighboring areas.
The number of in-state racers we typically have, said Rich Pearson, N.O.W.s race director, is low when compared to races in California or Colorado, but the Flyover series will increase participation that will make our race bigger and better for everybody.
