George & Phillips, the tennis and running specialty shop based in Exeter, NH, is closing after 106 years in business. Compny owner Bert Freedman, the third generation to run the store, is retiring.
The store is at 179 Water Street.
George & Phillips said in a Facebook post on July 8, “It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I am retiring and closing George & Phillips Inc. after 106 years. Going out of business sales start today, July 8th. Come early for best selection.”
