Cycle for Survival, the national movement to beat rare cancers, announced a new sponsorship from New Balance for the Cycle for Survival indoor cycling rides in 2015. New Balance will provide all apparel, including participant T-shirts, instructor uniforms and special fundraising incentives including performance athletic apparel for the annual events.

New Balance associates will ride at the New York City and Boston events, joining more than 20,000 other riders who are expected to participate in the 2015 events in 13 cities across the country. Cycle for Survival is the fastest-growing athletic fundraiser in the U.S., according to Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum.

Together with the movement's founding partner, Equinox, more than $60 million has been raised since 2007. 100 percent of every dollar raised funds rare cancer research studies and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the nation's No. 1 cancer care hospital, which owns and operates Cycle for Survival. Memorial Sloan Kettering was named the number one hospital for cancer care in the nation by U.S. News & World Report

Robert DeMartini, CEO, New Balance: “As a global athletic brand committed to health and fitness, New Balance is proud to announce its support for Cycle for Survival and the fight to beat rare cancers. Through this sponsorship, we hope to further excite and engage ride participants in supporting Memorial Sloan Kettering's efforts to find new treatments for people battling cancer.”

Craig B. Thompson, President and CEO of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center: “Memorial Sloan Kettering is delighted to welcome New Balance, a globally renowned brand, as Cycle for Survival's first-ever official apparel sponsor.  The support we receive from leading sponsors like New Balance, and from our founding partner, Equinox, allows us to guarantee that 100 percent of all funds raised by Cycle for Survival participants go directly to research targeting rare cancers.”
