New Balance has agreed to replace Umbro as the kit provider of FC Nantes, the French soccer club, starting from the 2018/19 season.
New Balance already has partnerships with Liverpool in the English Premier League, Scottish champions Celtic and FC Porto of Portugal.
“It is with pleasure and pride that, starting next season, we will welcome the brand New Balance as a new equipment supplier to FC Nantes, just like the big clubs in Europe,” said FC Nantes president Waldemar Kita. “We are convinced that New Balance will support our sporting ambition. The new training collection developed as part of this partnership will be available next summer in our official store and will allow our loyal supporters to continue to wear the colors of FC Nantes.”
Kenny McCallum, general manager of New Balance Football, added, “We are delighted to welcome FC Nantes, a history-laden club, to the European list of clubs in the New Balance football family and look forward to providing them with a collection of products in line with their ambitions. We are proud to support the team in their quest for success.”
