Runner’s World magazine has named the New Balance 767 running shoe a “Best Update” award winner in its Fall 2006 Shoe Buyer’s Guide.

The NB running team made improvements to the shoe over the 766, building it on a slightly wider platform and increasing the shoe’s midsole stability. Runner’s World commented on the revisions, “Both changes help control pronation and improve heel-to-toe transition. The upper boasts a bit more room in the forefoot and a softer collar that holds the heel firmly in place.” Also new to the 767 is N-Lock®, an integrated lacing and webbing system that provides optimal fit, support, and security. This system, combined with New Balance’s Sure-Lock lace design ensures a custom fit. One tester noted, “The stay-tied lacing system allowed me to customize the fit of the shoe.” As with all in-line New Balance shoes, the 767 is available in multiple widths and sizes.

“Our primary driving goal is to always provide runners with the best fitting, most innovative, high performance products,” says Eric Vassall, product manager, running at New Balance. “We are extremely proud to have Runner’s World® recognize the hard work and diligent efforts of our team.”
