RootsRated, the online and mobile resource for where to go outdoors, has partnered with New Balance  to explore the why of trail running and grow the sport through a unique content-creation campaign. The collaboration aims to grow nation-wide passion for the sport while sharing authentic stories and tactical tips from some of the most motivated and passionate runners around the country.
 
This fall, RootsRated and New Balance celebrate trail running by featuring 25 long-form profiles from local runners in 25 communities. They talk about why they run, where to go and how they train. A great example is Lissa Ballinger, a runner from Aspen, CO who started trail running during a painful divorce.
