New Balance has joined The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) as a new Regular Member.

Established over 100 years ago in Boston, Massachusetts by Mr William J. Riley, New Balance is based on the founding values of fit, performance and manufacturing. Today New Balance strives to become the world’s leading manufacturer of high performance footwear and apparel. The brand focuses on function over fashion alongside a philosophy of “endorsed by no one”. An increasing segment of the New Balance business is apparel, from technical running gear to athletic workout wear.

Over the past decade New Balance has grown substantially and the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) is proud to welcome the company as a Regular Member.

The President of FESI and Vice-President of Puma, Mr Horst Widmann said: “I am delighted to welcome New Balance to our Federation, this affiliation is a further step towards an important goal for FESI. Our Federation is expanding its platform within European Union affairs and is confirming its essential role as interlocutor between the Sporting Goods Industry and the European Union decision-making bodies”.
