Last Week marked the anniversary week in which Jim Davis acquired the New Balance business in 1972. As part of its Centennial Year, New Balance chose the anniversary week
to announce a program that will see the company invest in playgrounds in five New England communities where their facilities are located.
The parks are being built in Brighton, Mass., the location of New Balance’s HQ, and Lawrence, Mass., as well in the Maine communities of Norridgewock, Skowehegan, and Norway/
South Paris.
