NEMO Equipment, Inc., the tent and tent accessories manufacturer, has hired Brandon Davey as its new senior designer. A graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Brandon has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in industrial design. Prior to working for NEMO, he did product design work for CWB Wakeboard Company and Modaliti Designs.
“Brandons portfolio was one of the best weve seen. Were excited to have him join our team and bring not only his talents, but also his love of kayaking and outdoor adventure,” said Cam Brensinger, the company president. “Weve been sitting on some exciting product ideas for lack of enough time in the day and Brandon will help us get these ideas to market.”
The senior designer position has been created in response to increased demand from retailers, customers and military. NEMO intends to continue their strong commitment to innovative design and broaden its product offerings in the upcoming year. Brandon will be responsible for new product design and development, expanding NEMOs product line and assisting in design improvements of existing products.
Brandon is an avid whitewater kayaker and enjoys camping, backpacking, snowboarding, wakeboarding and being a husband and father to his 5 month old daughter, Hazel.
