Nautilus, Inc. made four new appointments as part of a restructuring plan directed by Bob Falcone, the company's recently appointed president and CEO. The appointments include two key marketing leaders and two general business managers.

“Our restructuring requires the hiring and alignment of new talent with relevant expertise along with leveraging the excellent talent base that already resides in the company,” said Falcone. “We strongly believe that a matrix style of organization with a new emphasis on product lifecycle profitability will position us well for global growth while improving upon execution and results from our business plans.”

Marketing Appointments

The new appointments include two marketing experts who will help direct marketing for the company's portfolio of leading fitness brands, including the company's next generation of Bowflex® direct response advertising.

--  Mr. James A. Heidenreich joins the company December 3 as Sr. Vice
    President, Global Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to Mr.
    Falcone.  He brings more than 15 years of brand marketing experience.
    Since 2004, he was Vice President of Marketing for Riddell Sports Group,
    Inc. (renamed Easton-Bell Sports), where sales grew nearly 70 percent and
    earnings nearly doubled while he was there.  Prior to that, he was Group
    Vice President of Marketing for Experimental and Applied Sciences (EAS),
    the largest U.S. independent sports nutrition company.  He also served as
    Director of New Business Development and Director of Marketing and
    Specialty Product Sales for Brunswick Bicycle Division, and as Brand and
    Market Research Manager for Outboard Marine Corporation.  Heidenreich has
    an M.B.A. in Market Research from the University of Oregon.

-- The company also appointed Mr. Aaron Brotherton as Director, Direct
    Response TV and Creative Development, beginning December 10 and reporting
    to Heidenreich.  Brotherton was Vice President of Creative Development for
    Razor & Tie Entertainment in New York, where he developed direct response
    creative for a string of Billboard-topping videos and CDs.  His work
    includes: Kidz Bop, Sweating in the Spirit, Cheer!, and Darrin's Dance
    Grooves.  Brotherton has an arts degree in Music Theory and Composition
    from Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Va.

General Business Manager Appointments

The company also appointed two newly created positions of General Business Manager reporting to the President and CEO and in coordination with functional expertise. Their role will be the profitable management of product portfolios through the entire lifecycle of those products, a function that had not previously existed at the company.

--  Ms. Caroline "CJ" Howe has been appointed Sr. Vice President, General
    Manager and begins December 3.  Ms. Howe brings more than 20 years of brand
    and business management experience.  She joins from the Portland office of
    Irvine, Calif.-based American Sporting Goods Corp. where she led the
    reinvention of Ryka, a 20-year-old women's footwear and apparel brand.
    Previously, she was Global Brand Director of Sports Drinks for the Coca
    Cola Company, General Manager of Memories for Hallmark Cards Inc., and
    served 15 years at Nike, Inc. including as Global Brand Director for
    Women's Fitness.  She has an economics degree from Pomona College in
    Claremont, Calif., and was a track and field All American in 1984 and 1985.

-- Mr. Kenneth Fish begins his role as Sr. Vice President, General
    Manager December 3.  He currently serves as Vice President, Global finance.
    While at Nautilus, he has reorganized the accounting function following an
    ERP system conversion, oversaw continuous improvement, and directed the
    pending acquisition of Xiamen-based Land America, the company's largest
    contract manufacturer.  He brings more than 20 years of senior level
    finance and operations experience, including Vice President, Finance for
    wind generation company Vestas Wind Systems and Asia-Pacific Finance
    Director for NACCO Materials Handling Group.  Mr. Fish has a business
    administration degree from Oregon State University, and was certified as a
    management accountant.
