The Nautilus Group, Inc. is starting to see the changes expected after Gregg Hammann consolidated his control as chairman, CEO and president following the February resignation of company founder Brian Cook. The one constant will be the Board, with all seven current members of the Board of Directors, which includes Brooks Sports CEO Jim Weber, elected by shareholders to serve another year.

After weeks of deferring comment on the apparent departure of COO Kevin Lamar, Nautilus has finally acknowledged the change there while announcing several new hires and promotions.

Among those new additions, Holly Valkama takes over as SVP of Manufacturing and Operations. Another recent addition, Tim Hawkins, takes on the role of Chief Customer Officer, and now has responsibility for customer service as well as sales. Hawkins joined Nautilus in February from Levi Struass where he was VP of Sales. Darryl Thomas, SVP for Strategic Planning has assumed direct responsibility for international operations in addition to the company's strategic planning role.

Other moves include the promotions of Pat Warner to SVP of Product Development, now reporting directly to Hammann, and Wayne Bolio to SVP of Law and General Counsel from SVP of Human Resources. He joined Nautilus in June 2003.
