Native Shoes has appointed industry sales veteran Andy Trammell to a new position as vice president of sales for all US territories. The announcement falls in line with the company’s strategy to fortify the U.S. market.

In his new position, Trammell will be reporting to Company President, Darren Hawrish and will oversee U.S. sales agencies and all facets of the overall strategy. He will also be working in tandem with the senior leadership team including product design and marketing.

“This year has seen our business address key factors for operational improvements and put a strong management team in place that will allow Native to realize our potential as a global brand,” said CEO Scott Hawthorn. “Andy’s footwear industry expertise and relationships in the U.S. market will be key contributors to realizing a sustainable sales plan that facilitates our long-term growth.”

Trammell, a seasoned footwear veteran with more then 25 years experience, most recently held the position of Director of Sales at Sanuk. He held sales leadership positions with some of the industries largest contributors including Oakley, Vans, Columbia, and Reebok.

“I am excited to be joining such a dynamic company and being part of the team that will take the brand to the next level,” said Trammell. “Native has always appealed to me because of its unique styling and marketing. I’ve seen Fall 2014 and a sneak peek at what is in the pipeline for Spring 2015 and I can’t wait to help deliver their continued innovation to the market.”

This appointment comes on the heels of several company announcements including its 2013 acquisition, executive leadership appointments, U.S. sales agency partnership, and successful SS14 selling season. Native Shoes will show its Fall 2014 collection at Agenda Long Beach, New York, and Las Vegas, also adding Surf Expo, and the Atlanta Shoe tradeshows this season.
