N8 Concepts, Inc., a maker of action sports and golf apparel based in Denver, has signed a binding letter of intent to acquire EcoBlu Products, Inc. EcoBlu manufactures proprietary wood products coated with a patented chemistry that protects against mold, rot, termites and fire, and is focused on the development, marketing and sales of environmentally responsible building materials. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Steve Conboy, president of EcoBlu, stated, “We are extremely excited about this opportunity to transform the way we build. Our coatings technology will meet stringent building acceptance criteria that will set us apart in the industry and bring products to the market with protection that is affordable. Our family of EcoBlu products will offer builders a complete line of building components constructed of wood, from joists, beams and paneling, to floors and ceilings. We are especially excited about our fire protection technology that is unmatched in the business.” Conboy added, “This transaction will increase our visibility and give us access to additional capital which will afford us the opportunity to expand our business to new geographies and add additional facilities.”
N8 Concepts, Inc. is a developer of athletic and casual apparel and accessories based on their proprietary logo designs. The ompany focuses on goal sports and “hardcore” golfers with their POLICE THE CREASE and NEVER LAY UP brands.
