Mountainsmith hired Jeremy Dodge as sales and marketing coordinator to maintain its website, expand direct marketing, manage sponsorships, assisting new dealers and following up on new distribution channels.

Dodge's skills are focused in retail management and buying, brand representation, new media strategy and graphic design. Most recently, he was on the organization team for the Outerlocal Summer Games with Alpinist founder, Christian Beckwith. This followed a three-year stint as manager and buyer for Lowrider Boardshop, of Jack Dennis Sports, Inc, in Jackson, WY during which time he led the shop through a branding and inventory revamp. This experience, combined with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and personal passion for outdoor and snow sports and activities, gives Jeremy the tools he needs to excel in his new position.

“Jeremy will be an excellent fit with Mountainsmith,” said Jay Getzel, sales and marketing director for Mountainsmith. “His combined experience in retail sales, marketing, customer service and social media is just the right combination to round out our team.”

Forged in the Rockies in 1979, Mountainsmith manufactures, markets, and distributes technical backpacks, travel storage systems, luggage, camera bags, trekking poles, pet products as well as the lumbar pack icons-set the standard for the worldwide outdoor marketplace.
