Mountain Hardwear, Inc, has selected a third-party vendor to manage product images and other digital content its employees and dealers use to market Mountain Hardwear and Montrail products.


 

The Columbia Sportswear subsidiary will use Shotfarm's new library to replace their current product asset management website for the Mountain Hardwear and Montrail brands.

 

 

Shotfarm's product content network provides more than 8,000 brands with a central location to manage, share and transform product content. The newly released branded library provides manufacturers with a complete end-to-end brand experience for their employees and retail partners.

 

 

“We started using Shotfarm to make it easier for our retailers to locate and download our product and lifestyle images,” said Farrell Hall, digital marketing manager at Mountain Hardwear. “However, then our dealers had to go to one site for our images and another site for the rest of our marketing assets. Shotfarm's Branded Library provides the solution with one convenient location where dealers can find all of our latest product and lifestyle imagery, marketing collateral and sales tools.”

 

 

With Shotfarm, Mountain Hardwear users can search for assets, upload any file type with detailed product content. Shotfarm's platform simplifies product content management and sharing, while speeding time-to-market.

 

According to Hall, Shotfarm's Export Factory was also a critical factor in Mountain Hardwear's decision. The Export Factory is an easy way for retailers to take a LightBox of assets and apply powerful processing options such as batch file name conversions (SuperNamer) and image size variations (SuperSizer).
