Mountain Hardwear has begun showing the film Days Of My Youth to snow enthusiasts and powderhounds around the world this fall and winter.

The movie, which premiered along with a dusting of snow two weeks ago  in Boulder, CO, is the culmination of two years of filming in some of the best skiing terrain on earth. It features an intimate cast of the finest skiers in the world, including Mountain Hardwear athletes, Michelle Parker, James Heim and Sam Anthamatten.

The film premiered to San Francisco audiences on Friday, Sept. 19 at the Palace of the Fine Arts Theatre.
Days Of My Youth examines skiing as a way of life, offering a glimpse into the journey of self-discovery that every skier takes. Traveling the globe, the film looks through the lens in a new way and captures moments that define the cutting-edge of what is possible on skis. With narration from the prolific philosopher and writer Alan Watts, alongside personal insights from modern-day skiing superstars, this movie defines what it means to be a skier. In addition to Mountain Hardwear athletes Parker, Heim and Anthamatten the film features Richard Permin, Mark Abma, Cody Townsend, Markus Eder, Bobby Brown and others.

It is phenomenal to see this partnership between Mountain Hardwear, Red Bull Media House and MSP culminate at the premiere of Days Of My Youth in Boulder, said Mountain Hardwear President Topher Gaylord. James, Michelle and Sam are top level athletes and great ambassadors for us, they show the joy and emotional experience that can be found in the outdoors.

Presented by Red Bull Media House, in association with MSP Films, Days Of My Youth will be screened around the globe through 2015. The tour schedule can be found online. Beginning October 2014, the film will be available to purchase worldwide on DVD and Blu-ray, iTunes, Google Play and more.
