Mountain Hardwear Inc. announced its 2007 Give Back grants recipients. The grants are part of the company’s philanthropic giving program which was restructured late in 2005 with the first round of grants awarded in early 2006. The program has five arms designated to reflect the company’s priorities: Environmental, Outdoor Community, Recreation, Industry and Employee. Awarded annually, Gives Back grants are administered by a board of Mountain Hardwear employees.

Recreation recipients include:

  • The Access Fund
  • American Alpine Club
  • American Hiking Society
  • American Mountain Guides Assoc
  • The Appalachian Trail Conservancy
  • Continental Divide Trail Alliance
  • Outdoor Industry Foundation

Industry recipients include:

  • Outdoor Industries Women's Coalition
  • Outdoor Industry Association
  • Snowsport Industries of America
