Moosejaw said the third of five stores it plans to open in 2012 will be located in the Kansas City area and operational in the fall.
The 4,803-square-foot store will be located at 439 W. 47th St. at Country club Plaza, according to reports by Kansas City media.
Based near Detroit, Moosejaw has emerged as a major online retailer of outdoor specialty products and recently began expanding its brick-and-mortar presence outside its home state of Michigan. Two weeks ago it opened its first location outside Michigan and Illinois in Natick, MA. It has also announced plans to open a store in Boulder, CO.
