Sales at Moncler, the French outerwear brand that had a highly successful IPO last December, grew 24 percent in current-neutral (C-N) terms in 2013 compared with a year earlier, according to preliminary figures released by its board of directors Tuesday.

The company reported revenues reached €580.6 million ($771 mm) in the financial year ended Dec. 31, 2013, compared to €489.2 million in the comparable period of 2012.

Moncler saw double-digit sales increases in all its international markets, but said sales were particularly strong in the Americas, where they increased 44 percent C-N. The growth was driven by the strong performance of Moncler’s direct-to-consumer segment and by the good performance of the wholesale channel both in the United States and Canada.
