Modell's Sporting Goods will celebrate the grand opening of a new 7,000 square foot store located on 301 Main Street, in Paterson, NJ Thursday, Mar. 29 through Sunday, April 1, company President/CEO Mitchell Modell announced today. The announcement comes off the heels of 3 store openings earlier this month in Brooklyn, NY, Fresh Meadow, NY and Wayne, NJ.
All ceremonial ribbon cuttings will take place Thursday morning, March 29th at 8:50am with special giveaways for the first 200 customers in attendance.
Festivities will continue throughout the weekend with special offerings and appearances from local pro athletes.
Founded in 1889, Modell's operates 151 stores located in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC.
