Major League Baseball opened a pop-up store in downtown London, the league’s first standalone retail space in Europe.

Located in London’s Covent Garden district, the store officially opened to the public on Monday, September 12, and will remain open until the end of 2016.

“Our main goal is to serve the folks in London who are most focused in following our teams and baseball from end-to-end,” Chris Park, senior vice president of growth, strategy and international at MLB, told FoxBusiness.com.

Officials from MLB were looking to hold a professional game in London by 2017, but those plans were temporarily shelved in July.
