Mizuno opened its Rome flagship, the brand’s second European store.
Located at Via Tomacelli 147-152, near the Spanish Steps in a former Ferrari space, the 500-square-meter store builds on the Japanese brand’s European presence, following the opening of Mizuno’s first store in Turin, Italy, in 2020.
This expansion comes as Mizuno’s sales in the EMEA region fell 7.4 percent in its fiscal year ended March 31, to ¥23.7 billion ($156 mm) from ¥25.6 billion a year ago. Declines in running shoes offset gains in soccer and indoor. The EMEA accounts for about 10 percent of Mizuno’s sales.
