National shooting and outdoor products distributor MidwayUSA, announces a number of staff promotions.

Stan Frink is the new Midway USA vice president of human resources.

Frink is an NRA Benefactor Member, a graduate of the University of Missouri and is a 25 year employee of MidwayUSA. He has served MidwayUSA in the capacity of vice president of Logistics and most recently as vice president of customer support.

Frink will provide overall strategic leadership through the development, implementation and improvement of human resources policies, programs and services, including recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, Employee benefits, Employee relations, employment practices, employee communications and employee events.

“MidwayUSA’s rapid growth over the last several years has allowed me to experience many different areas of the business,” said Frink. “I am humbled to be leading a talented team and look forward to the many challenges that we face in keeping our workforce engaged and performing at a high level.

“Stan has served many roles in the MidwayUSA organization during his 25-years with us,” said Matt Fleming, president of MidwayUSA. “His previous roles of vice president of logistics and vice president of customer support have helped him learn just about everything about our systems and processes.  So, with his vast experience, systems perspective, understanding and alignment with our values and culture and great advocacy for our employees, Stan will do a great job in his new role.”

Jeff Larkin moves to vice president of marketing.

Larkin earned his BA in English at the University of Missouri and MBA at William Woods University. He is an NRA Benefactor Member and Golden Eagles Member. He has held many positions over the years and most recently served as the Vice President of Merchandising.

Larkin will provide overall strategic leadership through the development, implementation and improvement of internet advertising, television advertising, public relations, marketing campaign management, search engine optimization and promotions processes.

Deanna Herwald has been named vice president of quality management systems.

Herwald is an NRA Life Member, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and is a long-standing Employee of MidwayUSA. She has held many positions over the years and most recently served as the vice president of human resources.

Herwald will provide overall strategic leadership through the development, implementation and improvement of the management framework, strategic planning, process management, measurement and analysis and knowledge management processes.

“MidwayUSA is dedicated to continuous improvement and to using the Baldrige Criteria as our leadership and management framework,” saidHerwald.  “I’m excited to get the opportunity to lead MidwayUSA’s on-going quality initiative which includes applying for our second Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2015.  The Baldrige criteria has been central to our success over the past several years and will continue to be an important part of our formula for success.”

Bill Clinton takes over as vice president of merchandising

Clinton is an NRA Life Member, a graduate of William Woods University and a veteran employee of MidwayUSA.   He has served MidwayUSA as a process manager, logistics manager and most recently as merchandising manager.

Clinton will provide overall strategic leadership through the development, implementation and improvement of MidwayUSA’s product offering, product information, pricing, inventory, promotions and entering new markets processes.

“Bill’s experience as a merchandising manager, his leadership skills, process management expertise, systems perspective and multi-year Missouri Quality Award examiner experience make him a perfect fit for our Senior Leadership Team,” said Fleming, President of MidwayUSA. “He also has an extreme passion for shooting, hunting and the outdoors in addition to being a great advocate for our customers.  All these qualities will make Bill extremely successful in his new role.”
