Mercury Marine appointed Paul Haynes as the new manager of MercTech, the technical hotline for Mercury dealers.
Haynes comes to the job with experience that includes five years as a technical teacher for automotive and marine apprentice mechanics, seven years as a marine technician and seven years as a marine mechanical assessor with NRMA Insurance.
“Paul’s enormous experience and knowledge of marine engineering is a huge benefit, along with his dedication to customer service,” said Mercury Marine general manager for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific John Temple.
“He’s an asset for MercTech and the whole Mercury team,” added Temple.
Haynes replaces Peter Hirst, who recently retired after a 15-year association with Mercury.
