Outdoors Inc finished development on Memphis’ only North Face Summit Specialty Shop within their location on Germantown Parkway this month. The North Face Summit dealers are chosen to have the most product knowledge and widest assortment of clothing, outerwear, footwear and equipment.
The Summit Shop is 400 square feet and includes all new fixtures and extensive products that cannot be found in other North Face dealers in Memphis. This is the only Summit Specialty Shop within 200 miles.
The North Face Summit Series is a collection of outdoor wear designed specifically for the North Face athletic team, tested and improved upon by their sponsored athletes. All four of the Outdoors Inc locations are Summit Series dealers.
Outdoors Inc has a long-standing relationship with The North Face as a premiere dealer for the last 32 years. “Outdoors Inc also takes a stance both regionally and locally in Memphis to be an advocate for the out-of-doors – be it kayak racing on the Mississippi or riding the new green-belt through Memphis. As a result, Outdoors Inc was chosen to have a Summit Shop built within their flagship store to help tell this story of the partnership we are proud to have with Outdoors Inc,” says The North Face First Ascent Sales Rep, Dan Miller.
Outdoors Inc is a local outdoor gear and clothing shop in Memphis, TN that has been outfitting human-powered recreation since 1974. Joe Royer and Lawrence Migliara founded the stores when they saw a need for a paddling outfitter in town. The company expanded to other outdoor sports in 1984.
