Chad Moore, current marketing director for Mavic in North America, will relocate to Mavic headquarters in Annecy, France in June to take on the role of global brand manager. He will also lead global sports marketing efforts.

“As we settle into 2015 we will continue with our strategic decision to strengthen our long-term focus and commitment in the U.S.” said François-Xavier Blanc, Mavic’s global brand director. “Having Chad in France to collaborate on key concepts will help us further understand the needs of the U.S. market and drive future concepts.”

“Earlier in my career I dreamt of an opportunity like this,” said Moore. “I’m deeply passionate about Mavic and feel very fortunate to be playing a key role in the future of a brand that has shaped my life both professionally and personally.”

As Mavic transitions into the Amer Sports portfolio in the Americas, they are seeking a brand manager to lead the marketing efforts. 

Mavic is the core brand within the Cycling business at Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor segment. The Cycling business generated sales of €138.5 million ($184 mm) in 2014, up 8 percent in currency-neutral terms.
