On the final night of the recent Horny Toad annual sales meeting, Jen Mastro and Jen Cordray won “Rep of the Year” honors and a cocktail napkin IOU for the cash award from company president Gordon Seabury.

“We have a new sales target for 2006,” said John Bales, Horny Toad national sales manager. “It’s to exceed our bar tab from the sales meeting.”

Mastro and Cordray are the Rocky Mountain reps for Horny Toad. In addition to leading the charge in the rep force, Mastro led the 1 a.m. initiative to move a 350-pound cement deer lawn ornament into the bed of Seabury. Unfortunately, the deer was placed in the wrong bed.

Hosted at the Circle Bar B Guest Ranch in the mountains north of Santa Barbara, the sales meeting agenda included a morning horseback ride, an unofficial horseshoe clinic, plenty of ping pong, and a customized (and much needed) Huevos Rancheros breakfast.

A surprise highlight of the event was a virtual wedding, virtual bachelorette party, and virtual Lionel Richie impersonator to honor the recently hitched Kimi Davies and Patagonite Eric Rice.

The other spotlight performance was a live show by the Joe Purdy Band, the group that will perform at the Horny Toad party during the upcoming Outdoor Retailer Summer Market trade show.
