Marmot Mountain, LLC opened its newly renovated flagship store Friday in the downtown San Francisco. The store – Marmot’s largest to date – is located at 165 Post Street.
Marmot’s first stores opened in 2009 in the ski resort towns of Park City, Utah and Aspen, CO. A third concept store followed in November, 2010 in Squaw Valley, CA.
“Our San Francisco store should generate a lot of excitement for Bay Area residents and visitors from around the world who enjoy spending time outdoors,” said Mark Martin, president of Marmot Mountain LLC and Jarden Technical Apparel, a division of Jarden Corporation. “I think people will be inspired by the quality and selection of Marmot products we have to offer them.”
