Fortune magazine named Mark Parker, Nike Inc.'s CEO, its 2015 Businessperson of the Year. Fortune's profile on Parker noted that Parker has more than doubled Nike Inc.'s sales since taking over in 2006 and recently announced a goal to expand sales from $30 billion to $50 billion in 2020.

“It’s about time the media discovered Mark Parker,” Phil Knight said in an interview with Fortune. “It’s like, where have you been? He’s been a nine-year sensation.”
